Having purchased this DVD for an older parent, I can honestly say that the hardest part of this workout program from seniors is getting the DVD set up. Designed for various capabilities, the older person who may be less confident is shown how to use a chair for support and balance during the workout. More confident adults can do modified versions of each exercise or for those who just need to get up and do something, there is an advanced demonstration. Often the senior will start out using the balance props only to discover that within a month or two they are able to do the advanced version.
Most seniors are concerned with the lack of toning. Most of that flabby skin will take good form once the muscle is toned. This DVD is a great way to get the process started. The DVD shows Joel Harper demonstrating the exercises in a simple, yet detailed manner. Additionally, the DVD shows how to do the exercises based on one's ability.
